Is this how one may relate them to the whole of the foursquare structure?

The chapters in the textbook, the stanzas of the Lord's Prayer, the segments in the Church Manual and the verses in Christ and Christmas are all sequenced in a developmental order, starting at the lowest aspect and ending with the highest.

In contrast with that, the chapter RECAPITULATION starts with the highest element, and then list below it, everything that is subsumed by it, sequencing downward row by row. In this manner, the higher elements incorporated what lays below them. For the naming of the individual rows and columns please refer to the exploratory article: - Sublime Science

However, the chapter RECAPITULATION contains 24 elements, whereas the foursquare structure can contain only 16. This creates a paradox. But how can one solve it? Here the manner in which Christ and Christmas is constructed, comes to our aid. It contains 16 verses, as required to cover the foursquare structure, but fewer paintings, so that in some cases two adjacent verses are grouped together the same painting as related aspects. When this principle is applied to the chapter RECAPITULATION, its 24 questions and answers can then be seen as logically grouped together into 12 groups as shown in the top image.

So, what about the lower row? Don't they matter? It all depends on what the focus is. The chapter RECAPITULATION contains Mary Baker Eddy's class manual. The focus is on raising thought above the ground for scientific mental healing. This healing is only possible when the focus of though is raised to higher levels of perception than the level at which the problems are created, the level that the terms "night" and "hell" in the glossary pertain to.

Another factor comes into play here that has a natural dimension, which is related to the number of weeks in a year (52). Mary Baker Eddy has provided a set of 26 Bible Lesson topics to be repeated twice a years. It would be surprising if Mary Baker Eddy had not designed these topics to be constituents of the foursquare structure, together with everything else that she created. And this is evidently the case. But here again, we run into a problem. We have 26 topics, but only 24 spots. Mary Baker Eddy appears to have fixed this problem for us, by covering two related topics at once, with two of the questions (#20 and #22).

But the story doesn't end there. Mary Baker Eddy provided also 26 definitions for the name of ADAM in the glossary, which define the various dream-scapes which are countered and overturned by the 26 recapitulation elements, and also by the 26 Bible lesson topics. And here where the 4th row becomes insignificant. She provided a second set of definitions for the name ADAM. While the first set (of 26) stands in denial of the nature of man, the second set (of 4) stands in denial of the nature of God. Since there are four of these, they can be seen to apply to the four columns as the fundamental error to be overcome, as shown below.

Mary Baker Eddy writes, "the name Adam represents the false supposition (shown in the 4th row) that Life is not eternal, but has beginning and end; that the infinite enters the finite, that intelligence passes into non-intelligence, and that Soul dwells in material sense; that immortal Mind results in matter, and matter in mortal mind; that the one God and creator entered what He created, and then disappeared in the atheism of matter."  Since the sequence is a progression of error it is sequentially applied from left to right.

The following is a list of the Bible lesson topics applied

They are applied as indicated above, with the Adam-denial of God added in the 4th row.

7 - SOUL. 5 - LOVE. 3 - LIFE. 1 - GOD.
8 - MIND. 6 - SPIRIT. 4 - TRUTH 2- SACRAMENT
15 - ARE SIN, DISEASE, AND DEATH REAL? 13 - REALITY. 11 - SUBSTANCE. 9 - CHRIST JESUS.
16 - DOCTRINE OF ATONEMENT. 14 - UNREALITY. 12 - MATTER. 10 - MAN.
25 - IS THE UNIVERSE, INCLUDING MAN, EVOLVED BY ATOMIC FORCE? 22 - ANCIENT AND MODERN NECROMANCY, ALIAS MESMERISM AND HYPNOTISM,  DENOUNCED. 19 - ADAM AND FALLEN MAN. 17 - PROBATION AFTER DEATH.
26 - CHRISTIAN SCIENCE. 23 - GOD THE ONLY CAUSE AND CREATOR.

24 - GOD THE PRESERVER OF MAN.

20 - MORTALS AND IMMORTALS.

21 - SOUL AND BODY.

18 - EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT.
 Mary Baker Eddy writes, "the name Adam represents the false supposition:

that Life is not eternal, but has beginning and end;

that the infinite enters the finite, that intelligence passes into non-intelligence, and that Soul dwells in material sense;

that immortal Mind results in matter, and matter in mortal mind;

 that the one God and creator entered what He created, and then disappeared in the atheism of matter.

Now, let's apply the recapitulation questions and answers in the same manner

They are shown here with the sequentially corresponding element of the definition for ADAM added.

Note: The ADAM argument is often used as an argument against the specific statements of the answers to the questions, and thereby arguments against Truth. In this manner Adam speaks against reality, exposing its own dream as being without substance. Whatever argument opposes Truth, has not a trace of Truth in it, whereby the argument becomes self-destroyed.

( - Adam: A so-called man, whose origin, substance, and mind are found to be the antipode of God, or Spirit - )

Element 9

Mary Baker Eddy writes, "the name Adam represents the false supposition:

that Life is not eternal, but has beginning and end;

that the infinite enters the finite, that intelligence passes into non-intelligence, and that Soul dwells in material sense;

that immortal Mind results in matter, and matter in mortal mind;

 that the one God and creator entered what He created, and then disappeared in the atheism of matter.

The grouping as shown is logically legitimate is indicated by the simple test of looking the first group in detail.

Question 1. - What is God?
Answer. - God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love.

Question 2. - Are these terms synonymous?
Answer. - They are. They refer to one absolute God. They are also intended to express the nature, essence, and wholeness of Deity. The attributes of God are justice, mercy, wisdom, goodness, and so on.

The first part states a proposition of absolute Science, and the second part supports that proposition, but it does so in a manner that the second part almost poses a question in itself about the first part, for which however the answer is so self-evident that the question does not need to be stated. This duality is evident throughout the recapitulation structure

Adam's argument here, about the first part is, that it is "error." When Adam has no argument that stands up in reality, the cry is always "error." The Adam dream cries the is no God; the very God concept is error. But God is demonstrable. The Adam cry is thereby self-exposed as error. There is no Adam in the real world. It is a concept that exists only in a story of mythology. ( - Adam: Error - )

Of course Adam would cry that whatever proof we have of God is a delusion, a falsity. But in so crying Adam proves its own falsity, because justice, mercy, wisdom, goodness, and so on are undeniably real. ( - Adam: A falsity - )

I have brought together in the same manner all of the 12 groups, linked through the top number in each group, in the above chart, in order that you may explore more easily all of the groups in this manner, and also the nature of the individual subject of the Bible Lessons.

This kind of exploration was evidently intended by Mary Baker Eddy, since she required in the Church Manual that all class teaching in the field (the Primary class) be based on the chapter RECAPITULATION. Here is where all of the primary elements come together, with the Bible Lessons standing prominently in the center. What she presented in her class manual, which she included into the textbook as the chapter RECAPITULATION, is evidently more than just a collection of statements, but is the foundation for the development of Christian Science in the field. Nor are the Bible Lesson topics simply picked out of thin air, but have been chosen, meticulously, to serve a specific developmental purpose in conjunction with the whole.

Since these Primary aspects are not being touched on in Primary class teaching, to the best of my knowledge, nor likely will for another century, as they have already been successfully hidden for the past century, I am presenting an overview of these primary aspects here that the official Christian Science teachers might present one day in their Primary classes in future ages, in order that individuals may self-teach themselves until then, according to the design wisely provided by Mary Baker Eddy.
